Bullying is an issue that affects so many children.   I am trying to capture  the amount of crying that so many children experience from this type of abuse with a pool of tears filled with hateful words from their abusers.  Many children do not realize that bullies can be stopped.  I hope to create a clear message with my poster that there is help and where to go for that help. Below are some of my sketching ideas.                                                                 STOP THE BULLYING POSTER

                   I chose the National Symbol of the United States, the Bald Eagle, as my photomontage project. This image became the official seal of the United States in 1782. It appears on coins, paper money, flags, official documents, and public buildings. It is used by government agencies and by the military.  The eagle signifies the strength of our country. In my image hijack of this great emblem I altered it to portray the drug epidemic that invades our country. The Olive branch and arrows that signify the power of peace and war are absent and are instead replaced by the marijuana leaf and crack pipes. The hardiness and valor of the red stripes are now infected with hypodermic needles. All of these alterations in the image signify how the drug cartels and gangs are affecting the lives of Americans. The famous painting,  AMERICAN GOTHIC a 1930 painting by Grant Wood, is                        the  image I will be altering to portray our Right to  Bear Arms.  Gun rights are                        intended to   ensure  Americans freedom and protection against tyranny.                                                                                                                                           ...
